Application Information

When are applications due?

August 4th for cohort 1. For the next cohort, the application will be due August 31st.

When will I hear back about my application?

August 5th for this cohort!

What happens after I submit my application?

After we review your application through our evaluation process, you will receive an email with your admission decision. If accepted, you’ll receive a follow-up email with detailed instructions on how to set up logistics and prepare for your first session, including class access and other essential information.

Are there any prerequisites for the program?

Nothing! Just an open mindset to growth and learning.

Program Details

When is the program offered? What are the dates and times?

We work with accepted students to find the most convenient time for everyone. Sessions are typically held on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, depending on group availability. We’ll ask for your preferred days and times after acceptance and finalize a schedule accordingly.

How big are the class sizes?

Cohort sizes are 8-12 students, placed into groups of 4 for meetings.

How is the program structured? What does the curriculum cover?

The program runs for 5 weeks, with 2-hour sessions held once a week on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, based on student availability. Additionally, 1-hour office hours are held on Tuesday evenings for personalized support.

Startup Incubator: Equips students with the essential tools to succeed in the startup world, including how to pitch, prototype, and compete in business or tech competitions.

Research Fellowship: Guides students through the complete research process, from brainstorming and building a paper from scratch to editing, manuscript formatting, submission, and potential publication.

How do students join class?

Apply through our website! Once accepted, students will be sent an onboarding email with a zoom link and further information.

Is there homework? How much work or time is expected of students outside of class?

Homework is dependent on the program.

Startup Incubator: Homework typically takes around 1 hour per week outside of the main sessions, focusing on refining pitches, prototypes, and business plans.

Research Fellowship: Homework ranges from 1 to 3 hours per week, depending on the stage of the research process and the amount of feedback received on the paper.

Post Program Details

Will students receive a certificate of completion after the program?

Yes, we send each student a certificate of completion in the weeks following their program.

Are course materials accessible after the program?

Yes, students will continue to have access to the course materials even after the program ends.

Will I receive a recommendation letter from my instructor?

Yes, if a student would like a recommendation letter, they can receive one upon request.

What's next? Do you offer additional follow-up programs for students who have completed the programs?

Students who excel in their respective programs may be invited to return in future sessions as mentors, providing them with continued engagement and leadership development opportunities.
